NEWS Arrival – Wednesday 24^th April 2002 WELCOME TO BABY GEORGE DENT Andy Delivers the Goods in Family Kitchen Drama Congratulations to the Dents on the arrival of their third child, baby George. Andy’s words below give a true sense of the drama involved in the delivery. Sarah had baby George (8lb 10oz) at 7.30pm on Wednesday evening. He was born on our kitchen floor with just myself and Sarah present (luckily the girls were in bed). The paramedic arrived about 7.40pm (was I glad to see him!) followed by an ambulance at 7.50 and mid-wife at 8.10. I've yet to find out what the neighbours thought. Sarah and George doing fine, Charlotte won't leave him alone, Rebeccas fascinated and I'm still in shock! (Anyone got any tips about cleaning kitchen carpets?) I know I'm lucky because not every father gets the opportunity to deliver their own baby so if anyone wants a hand or needs help with the birth of their next baby.......phone the ambulance earlier!!!
