Latest News 30 September 2006 SEASON STARTS
WITH MIXED RESULTS The 2006-2007 has definitely started.
Following the empahtic opening day cup win
against Baggies Red Sox (where we set a new club
record with a 11-0 win), we then began our league campaign with a hard fought
1-0 win against Loughborough Carillon Kestrels. The Kestrels game was also where I got
injured (the 25 stitches in my mouth incident) and I’m not on the injury list
for a few weeks. We then played away at Rutland Oaks and were thrashed 8-0, almost our
record defeat. So it hasn’t been
boring so far. I’m finding It difficult to get the website back up and running
alongside work and other commitments.
We’ll see how things go.
Perhaps being sidelined will leave me with more energy for
web-mastering. Anyway, we have looked good in spells already this season. I’m sure we can bounce back from the JONAH |
